It’s true when they say every baby is different. Scarlett wasn’t a fan of being swaddled but Landon is. I don’t know if I’m the only one but I always thought babies must be so uncomfortable being wrapped tightly in a blanket like a baby burrito and not be able to move their arms haha. Although, I forget to keep in mind that they did spend 9-10 months in a tight space (our bellies) and they are still learning to control their body movements. Whenever Landon is sleeping and all of a sudden throws his arms up, he wakes up… so swaddling for him is extremely beneficial (well, for both of us actually haha).
Regular swaddle blankets work but the Nested Bean Zen Swaddle works wonders! Landon loves to be cuddled and if I could cuddle him 24/7, I totally would! But I have a crazy little toddler to chase around so he has be put down at some point haha. The Zen Swaddle is lightly weighted on the chest (like suuuper light) but it’s enough so it mimics my touch which soothes my baby boy and keeps him asleep longer.
Since switching over to this swaddle blanket, Landon has been able to sleep longer. Good thing that the Zen Swaddle is 2 sizes in 1 so he won’t outgrow it for awhile… woohoo! Plus when he decides that he no longer wants his arms swaddled, you can still use it with the arms out.
Attention Target shoppers… these are actually being sold at Target now! Mamas-to-be, if you are registering at Target, the Zen Swaddle is a registry must have!

I just love this convertible cardigan that doubles as a nursing cover. It totally makes my life easier when I breastfeed in public! I also love that the style of the cardigan is something that I would wear already. The simplicity and drapey fit makes it easy to go with almost any outfit. Oh, and of course, I got black! The great thing about the Cardimom by Multiwear is that it’s not only a nursing cover but you can use it as a car seat and stroller canopy, baby carrier/blanket, and a cart and high chair cover! You can even wear it was a poncho or hooded sweater… talk about super functional!

The summer weather is here so I decided to go with a bright blue polish for the week! Isn’t this blue just wow?! The best part about it is the nail polish itself is only about $2! When I first saw how much Sinful Colors nail polishes were, I immediately thought “ok that polish is definitely going to be chipping the next day!” Lol. I mean, why are they so cheap?! Boy, I was so so wrong!
I own a few of their polishes and all of them have applied nicely and stayed on as long as my OPI nail polishes! The price is great for those trendy colors you don’t want to spend a ton on cause you probably won’t wear them a lot. Plus, you won’t feel as guilty buying a few colors haha! All you need is a good base coat and top coat and you’re set for the perfect mani! Check out the ones I use here 🙂
I usually buy Sinful Colors nail polishes at Target. The Kylie Jenner collection is definitely next on my to-buy list!
Dress (old) – Shoes: Urban Outfitters (sold out) – Necklace: Nordstrom (sold out) – Bag: Street Level – Lipstick: MAC Media
I don’t know about you but I love me some oversized bags. My husband hates them because it stresses him out when he sees all the stuff inside lol. I’ve tried to do the smaller bag thing but it just didn’t work out. This tote is from Nordstrom B.P. and only $48! I say “only” because the quality is great and the fact that it’s reversible makes you feel like you just bought 2 bags for $48! Haha.
Oh and btw, I found that gray layered dress in a random store a couple years ago for $12! I literally scored cause Topshop had a similar one and I always get compliments on it. I wore it during the beginning of both of my pregnancies too. I’m totally sticking to my loose tops and dresses until I can start working out haha. For now, I’ll still be enjoying my daily iced green tea lattes from Starbucks and multiple servings of mocha almond fudge ice-cream. Once I’m cleared to work out in a couple weeks though, it’s going down! I’ll be ready to start my 21 Day Fix Program, the one that helped me lose most of my pregnancy weight last time. Read more about it in a past post here 🙂
Have a great week!! xo
Shirt & Headband: Trendy Bubs – Shorts: Old Navy – Boots: Sweet N Swag (shared here)
Not only do I love this shirt cause the design is so cute and the quality is amazing but I love the saying too! It’s so inspiring and perfect for a little girl 🙂 This shirt is from a clothing company called Trendy Bubs. Scarlett is so lucky to be a brand rep for them! Their clothes are ahhhh-mazing. Wait til you see the halter sunsuit they sent us for her too. It’ll be up on the blog next week 🙂 Any way, I love the v-neck style and the fabric itself is stretchy so it makes for a super comfortable shirt for a toddler to run around in. Not to mention, the fit is perfection!
The headband is also from them and omg you guys, I’m not even exaggerating… the quality is top notch. The fabric is thick and durable, one that will last for awhile for sure. I love the color scheme and the little triangles! This one will definitely be added to our handful of go to headbands.
I paired the outfit with cuffed denim shorts from Old Navy and her Sweet N Swag fringe mocc boots… Adorbs! Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
Dress: Brandy Melville (sold out; found similar) – Shoes: Sam Edelman – Necklaces: Sophie Harper (Curved Bar) & Kendra Scott (Tassel) – Earrings: House of Harlow 1960 – Bag: Nordstrom B.P. – Lipstick: MAC Whirl
So I bought this Brandy Melville T-Shirt dress when I was pregnant so I actually used it as a T-Shirt that I wore with leggings or maternity jeans lol. I’m so happy to be able to wear it as a dress now cause I think it’s cuter as one. It’s super soft, light, and comfy. I know that it’s going to be one of my go to’s this summer!
The accessories are from Rocksbox. Don’t you love them?! I wore all 3 pieces with this outfit because why not? Lol. Get your first month FREE by using code “rainaelegadoxoxo” at check out! If you need more info, click here to read my post on Rocksbox (or scroll down cause it was yesterday’s post). Oh and those Sam Edelman flats are still my current faves that I literally wear with everything cause they can go with just about any outfit!
P.S. This is my first outfit post WITHOUT a baby bump. I can’t believe I’m already saying this after 2.5 weeks of giving birth buuut I kinda miss it! Haha. Now when I’m taking pictures it’s like… “so, what do I do with my hands?!” Lol.
