Mellow Cosmetics Creamy Matte Lipstick in Posh
I was so excited to get this lipstick shade because it’s very similar to one of my everyday colors that I currently wear (MAC – Whirl). It’s a true matte lipstick and I love the smooth application. In the picture above, I put 2 coats on my hand. I wear the MAC Prep + Prime Lip under all my lipsticks and it definitely helps with hydration, smoothening the lines and keeping the color on longer.
Royal & Langnickel MODA Precision Angled Brush
This brush is not only super cute (love the white tips) but it’s definitely quality too! It’s a multipurpose brush that I mostly use for nose conturing and blending my eyeshadow. Love it! I also found out that this brand has brushes for Art AND Beauty… now that’s awesome! No wonder their make-up brush is legit.
Global Beauty Care Charcoal Wash Off Mask
This is one of those masks that give you an immediate result, which is smoother skin. I loved how my face felt after I washed this off… it felt much softer. When it comes to face masks, I need to feel immediate results so I actually know it was worth the time I left it on my face haha.
Manna Kadar Cosmetics Radiance Split Bronzer and Highlighter Duo
When I first saw this in my bag, I assumed it was eyeshadow so I was surprised to find out it was actually a bronzer and highlighter… oops! Any way, when it comes to bronzers, I typically like ones without a shimmer so I actually just used the highlighter on this duo. The light shimmer is really nice outdoors. The palette I use for contouring is the Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette.
Pacifica Island Life Eyeshadow Palette
Yay for an eyeshadow palette! These colors are really pretty although the 3 colors I would use the most are the lightest one on the left and the 2 shades of brown on the right. The product is pigmented and on the shimmery side which I love for the warmer weather. What’s awesome about this brand too is that it’s 100% natural, vegan and cruelty-free!
Overall, I was pretty satisfied with this month’s bag. The quality of the products are good and since they’re similar to products I already use, I would probably be using them up. I’m not a fan of the see-through ice cream make-up bag though but I know Scarlett will be and she can use it for her little trinkets. Haha. Any way, Ipsy has been stepping up their game lately and I get more and more excited to see what I’ll get each month. If you’re considering to try it out, don’t hesitate! It’s worth more than the $10/month… click here 🙂
