Hi everyone! My name is Raina and I’m a 30-year-old mommy blogger living in San Diego, California. I’ve been happily married to the love of my life, Leo, for 5 years. We have a 3-year-old named Scarlett, a 1.5-year-old named Landon and a 4-month-old baby boy named Liam! We also have 2 fur babies, Lia the Boxer and Knight the Pitbull.

I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with bachelor degrees in Dance and Communications, emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. For years, I was a dance teacher, high school dance team coach, and Pure Barre instructor. Currently, I am a full-time Musical Production Coordinator at an amazing charter school.

I started this blog because I wanted to remind myself and other women, that even when we become wives and mothers, we still have to value ourselves in the highest regard. We are queens of our own little kingdoms and all energy, time and even self are given to our families. The responsibilities of a “Queen” are exhausting but we still need to put our gowns and crowns on and remember to hold our heads high! That means it’s our royal responsibility to fulfill our motherhood duties and also make time for ourselves. It’s so important to do what makes us happy and esteem ourselves like the queens we are!

  1. Your family is so brautiful (your daughter is adorable!) and you are gorgeous! I love the concept of your blog. Thank you for reminding me that we cannot lose ourselves and our passion in our motherhood life… I needed that and I feel much better 🙂
I will look forward to more posts from you!!

    • Aw thank you so much!! and yes you deserve to do what makes you happy! 🙂 For awhile after I had my daughter, I literally felt like I lost myself and my husband really pushed me to take time to do what I enjoy and in turn, I felt much happier which I think made me be a better mom and wife! Thanks for stopping by my blog, Mama! xoxo

  2. Hi Raina,
I am Teresa Kamm, Jess Cathell’s Mom. (j.cathell.com) Thank you for leaving such a sweet comment on her blog about my husband in the tips for a Solid and Flirty Marriage. You have a beautiful family and I wish you all the best with your soon to arrive new little one. I love your comments about the responsibility of a Queen. Yes, Moms ARE royalty who work very hard all the time! LOL One of the most well known passages in the Bible is Proverbs 31:10-31. It was inspired by King Lemuel whose Mother taught him what to look for in a good wife–a royal wife. So you are really on to something! Anyway, I wish you all the best in all the areas of your life.

    • Hi Teresa! Of course! I know marriage takes a lot of work and you guys are definitely an inspiration 🙂 and awesome! I love that Bible verse!! ❤ Thank you so much! xoxo
